Azalea indica x hybrid 'Violacea'

Large double, rich violet purple flowers. Medium spreading growth. Spot flowering Autumn, then spring. Most soils are suitable as long as they are well drained and plenty of well rotted organic matter is dug in prior to planting, and the soil is not alkaline. Full sun/ part shade.  A tip prune and feed after the main flowering period will keep azaleas compact and vigorous, and ensure lots of flowers next season. Water adequately in warm, dry conditions ad keep a mulch of organic material over the roots.
