Centella asiatica 'Arthritis Plant' Hanging Basket 25cm

Used as a medicinal plant in southern Asia, this is a low growing, spreading, perennial ground cover with heart-shaped leaves and small, inconspicuous, pale pink flowers. Herbalists claim eating two leaves a day gives relief from arthritic pain. Best eaten fresh, as a salad garnish or added to stir-fry and rice dishes. A useful ground cover and easily grown in containers. When grown in moist, sheltered positions, the flavour of the leaves is less bitter when grown in the open. Keep moist in dry weather.
