Correa 'Lime Chimes'

One of the many selected seedlings from the 'Correa Chimes Range'.

It is a cross from the hardy parentage of Correa glabra. This plant has vigour, maintains a dense foliage, and forms a low mounding ground cover. It produces dainty bell-shaped flowers between autumn to late winter. The colour of the flowers and buds begins as soft lime and fades to ivory as it ages. Useful for rockery plantings or can be planted in areas where low level plantings are required for large landscape sites or small garden beds. This plant produces colour and nectar over the cooler months.

Prefers full sun though will tolerate part shade. It is adaptable to most well drained soils and tolerates periods of dry conditions. This ground cover will require summer watering over prolonged periods where there is little to no rain.

It is best to initially feed with a slow release native fertiliser to help establish the plant. A follow up with the occasional reapplication of fertiliser and apply as required is beneficial to the plant. Mulching around the base of the plant will also help retain moisture and suppress weeds
