Solid native tree with a gnarly trunk and thick leathery foliage. Well known for its incredible mass flowering display during summer where it covers in bright flowers that are sure to catch your eye. Flowers can be white, pink, red or orange.

Excellent feature tree for gardens, parks or farms. Also can be a good windbreak.

Prefers a sunny position with some frost protection especially while establishing. Tolerates coastal conditions and short periods of drought. Best to water until established in warmer months.
