Bulb that produces vibrant flowers in varying colours on a thick, strong stem, above rounded leathery foliage. Remove spent flower stems at the base of the plant to encourage new blooms. Plant will go dormant in summer, place in a protected, dry shaded position until autumn when bulb begins to sprout with new growth.
