In spring, this shrub bears a mass of tubular, purple flowers. This hardy evergreen shrub is useful for exposed, windy sites. Ideal for containers and shrubberies. Prefers well drained soil and full sun. Very frost hardy, drought and lime tolerant. Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth. Keep watered in summer.
