Attractive Australian tall shrub to small tree with spectacular floral display.
An upright evergreen shrub with handsome flattened grey-green leathery leaves and masses of striking creamy- pink spike-like flowers throughout spring. Reaches approx. 2-4m tall and 2-3m wide.
Prefers a well-drained soil in a warm sunny position. Tolerant of dry periods, wind and moderate frost once established.
Apply a layer of mulch around the base when planting to reduce weed competition and retain soil moisture. Avoid waterlogged conditions.
