Leptospermum Sericeum 'Espereance Tea-tree' 

A small to medium-sized shrub, which produces a mass of flowers in Spring, emerging deep pink and fading to pale pink or white. New foliage is silvery grey, maturing to green.

A most decorative shrub for general garden use. Attractive screening, windbreak and hedge plant. Both the foliage and flowers can be cut for indoor decoration. 

Grows best in a sunny to partly shaded position, protected from frost. 

Pune after flowering to promote silvery, new growth. Keep moist during extended dry weather. 

Cultivate soil before planting. Dig hole twice the width of the container. Remove plant from container and place into the hole so the soil level is the same as the surrounding ground. Fill hole firmly and water in well even if the soil is moist.
