Carex glauca 'Blue Sedge'

Foliage plant with thick blue grass- like leaves. This tough sedge is a excellent border plant or ground cover and can be used for erosion control on unstable banks. Suited to well-drained soil in full to partial sun. Tolerates damp or wet ground. Water well during summer. Fertilise during spring. Trim untidy plants 5 to 10cm from the ground to promote new growth.
