Acacia cognata 'Bower wattle'

This attractive shrub has weeping branches adorned with drooping narrow grey-green leaves. In the spring, creamy yellow flowers emerge. It can thrive in heavy clay or other moist soils, as long as they have good drainage. While it prefers full sun, it can also grow well in partial shade. For best results, plant it in an area with excellent drainage, and add a layer of mulch and compost under the leaf litter.
