This has narrow dark green flat leaves. It flowers from June to December with a soft yellow wattle like flower stemming out from the branches. It becomes an excellent bird habitat in moist or wet areas. 

Suitable for most soil conditions including periods of water logging
Can be used for hedging screening
The leaves can be prickly when handling
