Agonis flexuosa ‘Nana’ 

This evergreen Australian native shrub features weeping foliage and a decorative zig-zag pattern on its stems. Its silky pink new shoots develop into grey-green pendulous foliage, and mature trees produce pretty long arrangements of creamy white flowers in Spring. It can thrive in both temperate and tropical climates, in a variety of garden soils and light conditions. This shrub is also tolerant of heavy pruning and can make a lovely informal coastal hedge. Use a low nutrient mulch, such as leaf litter, and avoid areas prone to frosts.
