Commonly known as heartleaf ice plant or baby sun rose, it is a low-growing, succulent. Trailing stems with small heart-shaped leaves, and vibrant, daisy-like flowers. The leaves are fleshy and glossy green, while the flowers can range in colour from shades of pink to purple. A resilient and drought-tolerant plant that thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. It is commonly used as a ground cover in gardens, rockeries, and containers, providing a splash of colour and spreading to create a dense mat of foliage.
