Commonly known as Granny's Bonnets, Aquilegia flowers in early Summer. Flowers come in shades in blue and purple, as well as red, yellow and white.
Aquilegia are clump forming perennial with delicate fan shaped foliage.
They are very hardy plants, and are quite adaptable though they prefer cooler climate. They are ideal for a foreground plant, or borders. A must have for any cottage garden.
