This dwarf form of the popular Heath Banksia has narrow, dark green leaves, which are beautifully contrasted with the large, brilliant orange-red cone flowers produced in spring and summer. 

Ideal for use as a background or screening plant, suitable for seaside plantings. The flowers attract nectar feeding birds. 

Adapts well to a wide variety of soils and conditions. Tolerates wet soils but prefers good drainage. Grows best in full sun or light shade. Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth. 

Cultivate soil before planting. Dig hole twice the width of the container. Remove plant from container and into the hole so the soil level is the same as the surrounding ground. Fill hole firmly and water in well even if the soil is moist.
