This dwarf form of the popular Heath Banksia has narrow, dark green leaves, which are beautifully contrasted with the large, brilliant yellow-orange cone flowers produced in spring and summer. Ideal for use as a background or screening plant, suitable for seaside plantings. The flowers attract nectar feeding birds. Adapts well to a wide variety of soils and conditions. Tolerates wet soils but prefers good drainage. Grows best in full sun or light shade. Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth.
