Banksia ericifolia
Little Eric is a form of Banksia ericifolia. It has masses of cylindrical red/orange flowers that flower from autumn until spring. The flowers are popular with native birds.
Plant with summer flowering shrubs like Cistus, large Salvia and Abutilon. Grow in a sunny position with well drained low phosphorus soil. Prune annually after flowering. Can be used as a small hedge, specimen plant or in large tubs.
Regular applications of Seasol and PowerFeed from mid spring to late autumn will keep the plants looking good and growing well.
