Banksia serrata 7cm

Banksia serrata (Saw Banksia) is a medium sized tree with leathery green, serrated leaves. For most of the year it produces large greenish-yellow flowers, followed by decorative grey cones.

It is ideal for gardens, parks and roadside planting. While mature specimens (50 years) may reach 20m, garden specimens can be kept considerably smaller.

Plant in a sunny area in light or heavy soils Will tolerate short dry periods. Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth.
