This native shrub is perfect for borders and specimen planting. It boasts vibrant red flowers from September to November and thrives in sandy to well drained soils. For optimal growth, water regularly for 8-13 weeks until it is established. To maintain a natural shape, prune every 3-4 years, or every 2 years for a tidy hedge. Compared to 'Little John', this variety is easier to grow and establishes more quickly. Its mature foliage is blue-green with silver-toned new growth and soft, hairy texture. It is also drought and cold tolerant, with moderate resistance to Myrtle Rust.
