Carex petriei 7cm

Evergreen, grass-like perennial native to New Zealand that forms into a medium sized clump. Fine foliage is copper in colour and tends to curl at the tips.

Suited to well-drained soil in full to partial sun. Tolerates damp or wet ground. Water well during summer. Fertilise during spring. Trim untidy plants 5 to 10cm from the ground to promote new growth.
