Chamelaucium unicinatum 'Local Hero' 18cm

Masses of glossy red buds in midwinter are followed by an abundance of pink flowers in mid spring. These waxy blooms flower for an extended period complimented by a backdrop of fresh, green and fine foliage creating a wonderful display.

A rounded shrub with waxy flowers growing to approximately 80cm high and 1.5m wide. Prefers an open sunny or partly shaded position and grows in a wide range of free-draining soils. Tolerant of hot dry conditions and has a low water requirement once established.
