Correa 'Ember Chimes'

One of the many selected seedling from the 'Correa Chimes Range'.

It is a small compact shrub which has dense foliage and produces a prolific mass display of orange dainty bell-shaped flowers between autumn to late winter. Useful for rockery plantings or can be planted in areas where low level plantings are required for large landscape sites or small garden beds. This plant produces colour and nectar over the cooler months.

Prefers morning sun and suitable for part shaded areas. It is adaptable to most well drained soils and tolerates periods of dry conditions. This small shrub will require summer watering over prolonged periods where there is little to no rain.

It is best to initially feed with a slow release native fertiliser to help establish the plant. A follow up with the occasional reapplication of fertiliser and apply as required is beneficial to the plant. Mulching around the base of the plant will also help retain moisture and suppress weeds
