Correa pulchella 'St Andrews'

A white flowering form of Correa pulchella. It produces white bell shaped flowers from autumn and continues through to spring. Is an excellent to use for mixed plantings such as cottage gardens, or for low level plantings to brighten up the garden during the cooler months.

Grows best in both a semi-shaded site and full sun. It is adaptable to most well drained soils and it is excellent to use in coastal gardens. This plant is suitable to temperate climates, and once this plant is established it will tolerate short spells of dry.

This small shrub requires little maintenance other than a tip prune to promote a more compact plant. It is best to initially feed with a slow release low phosphorus fertiliser to help establish the plant. It is beneficial to follow up with the occasional reapplication of fertiliser and apply as required. Mulching around the base of the plant will help retain moisture and suppress weeds.
