A small to medium-sized, rounded shrub with attractive, greyish, narrow foliage. In spring, this shrub bears a mass of tubular, lilac flowers. This hardy evergreen shrub is useful for exposed, windy sites. Ideal for containers and shrubberies. Prefers well drained soil and full to partial sun but will tolerate dappled shade. Tolerates strong winds and limited periods of flooding. Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth. Keep watered in summer.
