Leek Punnet

Allium porrum

Leeks are members of the onion family which develop thick white edible stems. They require a well manured soil in an open sunny spot. Harvest 12-14 weeks from planting.

Growing Tip: As the plants develop the soil should be mounded up around the stems. Water regularly.

Companion Planting: Plant with cabbage, carrots, beetroot and lettuce.
