A beautiful evergreen shrub with striking reddish-purple leaves and clusters of brilliant pink, spidery flowers during spring and summer. Foliage is quite dense.

This makes a lovely hedge, or a enticing specimen shrub. Looks great in rock gardens and pots.

Tolerates both warm and cold climates and prefers well drained soils enriched with organic matter. Mulching is beneficial. Avoid lime.
