Lycium Goji Berry 20cm

Lycium barbarum

A sprawling shrub with vine like stems, grey-green leaves and purple star like flowers. Edible sweet red berries appear from early summer to autumn.

Fruit has a similar flavour to cranberries and is high in anti oxidants. Use fresh or dried. Goji berries are used in traditional Chinese medicine.

Grow in a sunny to partially shaded position in well drained soil. Tolerant of a range of temperatures, frost and drought once established. Prune trailing stems hard after harvest.
