A spreading perennial with refreshingly aromatic pointed oval leaves.

Mint prefers a cool moist position in partial shade.  Tip prune regularly to promote new growth. 

Mint is used in sauces, mint jelly, salads, meat, fish and vegetable dishes, as a garnish and to flavour herb teas and drinks.
