Pennisetum advena "Rubrum Dwarf" 7cm

Very decorative clumping grass with fine, reddish-purple leaves. Tiny purple-pink flowers bloom from mid Summer to early Spring, and fade to a creamy colour as they age.

A useful accent plant that provides a good contrast against greenery. A great option for water-wise gardens. Mass plant for a striking display.

Best grown in full sun, in well-drained soil. Tolerant of heat, humidity, extended dry periods and windy sites. Fertilise with a slow release fertiliser in Spring. Cut back in Spring after flowering.
