Pyrus 'Spright'

A versatile dwarf ornamental pear grown for its formal shape, spring flowers and autumn colours. Ideally suited for a small garden or garden bed. Reaching approximately 3m high and 1.5m wide in 10 years. Masses of pretty white blossoms in early spring followed by dense glossy green leaves through spring and summer. In autumn, leaves turn a range of colours from red to orange and gold. Prefers a sunny or semi shade position with moist well drained soil, but will tolerate most soil types. Frost and drought tolerant once established. Mulch and fertilise after leaf burst.
