Sambucus nigra ‘Albo-Variegata’

A large shrub with masses of sweetly perfumed, cream flowers and lacey green foliage. The flowers can be used in salads, fruit dishes like muffins, compotes and jellies. Recommended for all those issues with the respiratory organs associated with colds and flu. The berries are very high in Vitamin C. Plant in almost any spot in the garden and does well in poor dry soils and prefers full sun. Needs a bit of space and if planted at 1m centres will make a quick and dark hedge.
