'Gembrook Waratah 'PBR' is a large shrub, which produces an abundance of large red blooms in Spring.

The flowers of Gembrook Waratah are popular in floral arrangements, due to their straight long stems and uniformity of their flower heads. Gembrook Waratah is protected by Plant Breeder's Rights. Will tolerate frosts to -5°C.

Gembrook Waratah will require frequent watering in the first summer of planting. This waratah should be planted in a well drained soil. Remove spent flowers after flowering to maintain shape of plant.
