Cultivate well drained soil before planting. Pinch out tips to promote bushiness. Protect from snails and strong winds. Keep moist in dry weather.

Use fresh or dried leaves or freeze to use later. Add colour and flavour to a range of dishes including tomato, pesto, pasta, salads and vinegars.
