This Australian native grass is prized for its decorative, brownish seed-heads. Seed heads are produced in summer. The brown foliage often has a purplish tinge. Ideal for rockeries, poolside planting and containers.  Thrives in a wide range of soils and conditions, including clay loam and sandy soils. Tolerates drought once established.
