salads. Sweet Bite is easily grown in the garden or in decorative tubs and containers

Tomatoes will grow in most reasonably fertile soil but perform best if well rotted compost or animal manure is dug in and a complete fertiliser added. Plant seedlings deeply to encourage root growth, then apply mulch.

Remove lateral growth after three weeks to form a strong single stem. Feed with a soluble complete fertiliser every three weeks.
